Introduction

Laothani Group is a specialist and long experience in Automotive business in LAO PDR. Since 1985, when our Founder, Mr. Somsouk Phimphachanh, had foreseen the potential and ability of the market for the Brand-new vehicles, which firstly visited Toyota Motor Thailand and signed contract of supply the brand-new pickup trucks to Lao market.
With the growth of demand and our willing to upgrade our facilities to TOYOTA global standard, in 2004, Laothani Group had fully been Official dealer for TOYOTA with TOYOTA global standard 3S+BP facilities. And we are continuously opened the new facilities to cover all the demand in strategic location.
With the long successful business for TOYOTA in Sales and Aftersales, in 2006, Laothani Group had appointed as Distributor for HINO Truck business in LAO PDR, when we expanded our new truck sales and service support to major customer industries like Food & Beverage, Logistics, Construction, and Mining.
In 2016, Laothani Group and Robert Bosch (Thailand) had found and agreement to open the new concept of Service center under Bosch Car Service in Vientiane Capital, LAO PDR. The Bosch Car Service is the well-known Service center in Europe before expand to the World, which target to offer customers with Less cost but More Quality with Aftermarket parts under Bosch brand and highly skill mechanics under Bosch’s standard.
From the new Automotive era came, the Electric vehicles are the new replacement of Internal combustion engine vehicles. Laothani Group is also looking forward and prepare ourself to new era of Automotive, in 2022, we have found an agreement with WM Motor Asia Pacific (under WM Motor Technology Co., Ltd), the startup firm leading by Mr. Freeman Shen (Former executive of Geely and Chairman of Volvo;s China), and received investment from Famous Chinese technology companies Baidu and Tencent. Later 2022, we will launch the new Electric vehicles under brand of WELTMEISTER.
